Owl City is an American synthpop musical project by Adam Young. Young started out making music in his parents' basement in Owatonna, Minnesota, later developing a following through his MySpace profile before being signed to Universal Republic.
After two albums, Owl City gained mainstream popularity from the 2009 major label debut album Ocean Eyes, which spawned the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 #1 hit single and UK #1 hit single "Fireflies".

Allison Iraheta (born April 27, 1992) is an American singer from Los Angeles, California, who came in fourth place on the eighth season of American Idol. Prior to Idol, Iraheta won the Telemundo competition Quinceañera: Mamá Quiero Ser Artista. Following the conclusion of Idol, Iraheta was signed to a record deal with 19 Entertainment and Jive Records. Her debut album Just Like You was released on December 1, 2009.

Steven Curtis Chapman (born November 21, 1962 in Paducah, Kentucky, U.S.) is a Contemporary Christian musician.

Boa Kwon (Korean: 권보아, Kwon Boa, born November 5, 1986), commonly stylized and known by her stage name BoA, which is a backronym for Beat of Angel, is a Korean singer, active in South Korea, Japan, and the United States. Born and raised in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, BoA was discovered by SM Entertainment talent agents when she accompanied her older brother to a talent search. In 2000, after two years of training, she released ID.

Casting Crowns is a Grammy Award and Dove Award winning Christian band that employs a soft rock music style. The band was created in 1999 by youth pastor Mark Hall at First Baptist Church in Downtown Daytona Beach, Florida as part of a youth group. He also serves as a lead vocalist. Later they moved to McDonough, Georgia and more members joined creating the band now known as Casting Crowns. Some members of the band currently work as ministers for Eagles Landing First Baptist Church in McDonough, Georgia.

Kesha Rose Sebert (pronounced /kɛʃə/, KESH-ə; born March 1, 1987), better known by her first name Kesha (stylized as Ke$ha), is an American recording artist. An active musician since 2005, her breakthrough came in early 2009 after singing chorus vocals on Flo Rida's number one single "Right Round", although she wasn't credited for this. Her debut single, "Tik Tok", was released in August 2009 to much commercial success. It reached number one in nine countries and set the record for the most digital downloads in a week by a female artist and the total weekly Top 40 Mainstream airplay records in the US. The song also became the longest running number one debut single by a female artist since 1977. Her debut album, Animal, was released in early 2010 and debuted at number one in the US.
